Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship Android features in a large production application.
- Contribute to Android infrastructure to keep delivery fast and reliable.
- Review code, provide developer feedback, and write technical documentation.
- Lead development initiatives involving new technologies, code quality, practices, and architecture.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on technology, design, and product direction.
- Triage product and application issues and respond to customer problems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing high-quality Android applications.
- Strong understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, application components, operating system lifecycle, performance optimization, Gradle builds, and modules.
- Experience with concurrency practices and coroutines.
- Ability to make architecture decisions based on data and requirements.
- Working knowledge of MVVM and multi-tier architecture.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and publishing to the Play Store.
- Preferred: knowledge of data structures and algorithms and experience delivering testable, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Preferred: experience using AI and LLM tools in development while maintaining quality, review standards, and security.
- Preferred: experience with Dagger/Hilt, OkHttp/Retrofit, Espresso/Kakao, unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing.
- Preferred: familiarity with mobile accessibility, OAuth, mobile authentication, data safety, Material Design, mobile UX, and mobile design patterns.
