Responsibilities
- Contribute to data engineering projects and team deliverables within defined scopes.
- Design and improve data pipelines for data engineering and data quality automation.
- Transform, store, distribute, and investigate data supporting market data products.
- Improve data quality, testing automation, and monitoring of strategic data assets.
- Automate production support for market data products.
- Understand system protocols, data flows, dependencies, and enterprise technology tools.
- Collaborate with technology leads and data quality team members to address capital markets business problems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and/or production support across large enterprises.
- At least 3 years of hands-on data engineering or data quality automation experience in capital markets, market data, or the trading industry.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, object-oriented and service-oriented principles, design patterns, and industry best practices.
- Strong SQL knowledge and ability to write complex queries for data quality investigation, issue resolution, and data extraction.
- Experience with one or more of C++, Python, Java, or C#.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL, Postgres, or MySQL and key-value or document databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
- Databricks and cloud technology experience are desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in an Agile methodology environment.
