Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber.
- Build reusable automation frameworks using the Page Object Model and maintainable coding standards.
- Convert user stories and acceptance criteria into automated test scenarios and feature files.
- Execute automated regression, integration, and functional test suites across release cycles.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root-cause investigations.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to improve quality outcomes.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test data, reporting, and validation processes.
- Perform API and database validation and recommend improvements to automation coverage, efficiency, and release readiness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience testing and automating web-based enterprise applications.
- Strong Java programming skills for writing reusable, maintainable automation code.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Gherkin, and automation framework development.
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of test design techniques, regression testing, defect management, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience creating and maintaining Cucumber step definitions, hooks, tags, runners, and scenario outlines.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and integration with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to write SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and test verification.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes U.S. retirement-domain applications, retirement transactions and administration workflows, reporting, compliance, taxation, Git, Azure Repos, TFS, or similar version control platforms.
- Certification or training in test automation, software testing, Agile delivery, or DevOps practices is preferred.
