Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing for web-based applications.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation scripts using Java.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and API test scenarios.
- Validate REST and SOAP services using Postman and SoapUI.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries, data verification, and backend testing.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in Unix/Linux environments.
- Support release pipelines and CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
- Participate in defect management, root cause analysis, production validation, and continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing, including strong manual testing experience for web-based applications.
- Hands-on Selenium WebDriver automation experience using Java.
- Experience developing and maintaining Data-Driven, Hybrid, and Page Object Model automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and test methodologies.
- Practical REST and SOAP API testing experience with Postman and/or SoapUI.
- Strong database testing skills, including complex SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and data validation scripts.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux log analysis, troubleshooting, and command-line operations.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps-driven testing practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes JMeter, cloud-native architectures, Artifactory, security and non-functional testing, GenAI-assisted testing tools, AI copilots, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred certifications include ISTQB, Selenium Automation, AWS, Azure, GCP, and GenAI or AI-related certifications.
