Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks, especially using Playwright.
- Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, system, UAT, and API automation testing.
- Define testing strategies, standards, governance practices, metrics, dashboards, reports, and status updates.
- Analyze complex systems, troubleshoot automation issues, and perform root cause analysis and defect reporting.
- Lead QA initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, contribute to decisions, and align testing objectives with project goals.
- Mentor team members and support their skills and performance development.
- Use AI tools to support test strategy design and optimization.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in automated testing; the posting also states a minimum requirement of 7.5 years.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation using Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with API automation and validation, test management tools, CI/CD pipelines, defect management, and QA reporting.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar testing tools and frameworks is preferred.
- Exposure to JMeter, LoadRunner, accessibility testing, SQL/database testing, Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
- Basic understanding of security testing and experience with banking, financial services, or wealth management applications are advantageous.
- Experience defining QA strategies, standards, and best practices.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
