Base Salary
$136k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical contributions and guidance to software products supporting the Ground Weapons System capability for the Missile Defense Agency.
- Develop modeling and simulation software and debug complex software systems.
- Decompose open-ended technical problems into action plans with defined success criteria.
- Apply object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
- Support an in-person closed-area work environment and travel approximately 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years.
- Current active in-scope U.S. Government Secret security clearance required at application and start.
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- C++ experience is required; experience with Python, MATLAB, Ada, or Java is also requested.
- Preferred qualifications include missile defense program experience, software root-cause or forensic analysis, and an active Security+ certification.
