Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, leadership, and technical guidance to software engineers.
  • Develop software using modern C++ for RF emitter products and solutions.
  • Work with customers to understand requirements and CONOPS and design systems that meet expectations.
  • Coordinate and lead reviews and demonstrations for customers and senior management.
  • Review software quality and behavior against intended requirements.
  • Oversee and assist with system integration in laboratory and field environments.
  • Lead software development activities including research, design, development, debugging, integration, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another engineering discipline.
  • At least 18 years of related work experience.
  • At least eight years of modern C++ development experience using C++11 or newer.
  • Strong software engineering experience across research, design, development, debugging, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience developing Modular Open System Approach (MOSA)-compliant architectures and designs.
  • Experience developing integrated systems requiring hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Minimum Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Preferred experience leading software development teams and applying DevSecOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred experience with UI design, UX workflows, latency-constrained distributed systems, Atlassian, GitLab, cybersecurity principles, STIG processes, Risk Management Frameworks, range interfaces, and network architecture.
