Responsibilities
- Guide team members in designing and adopting site reliability engineering practices.
- Design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches with software engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms.
- Resolve complex problems and proactively address issues using service level indicators and objectives.
- Improve application availability, reliability, and scalability and remove operational roadblocks.
- Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for incident triage, troubleshooting, post-incident analysis, and reliability-risk identification.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
- Proficiency in SRE culture and principles and the ability to implement SRE practices within an application or platform.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
- Experience with white-box and black-box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in a discipline such as cloud, AI, or mobile platforms.
- Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for SRE workflows, including validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
- Ability to review AI-assisted operational recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and follow security and data-handling requirements.
- Preferred experience with continuous integration and delivery tooling, container technologies, container orchestration platforms, and networking troubleshooting.
