Responsibilities
- Develop web applications based on React.
- Develop React components.
- Analyze client application requirements and design UI components.
- Modularize components and develop an efficient application development framework.
- Use the framework to build applications.
- Design and improve the Tailor Platform UI.
- Potentially contribute to backend development depending on interests and skills.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience as a frontend engineer; the English section also states five-plus years of experience.
- Professional development experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Experience with standardization and open-source product development or OSS activities.
- Experience leading a team technically as a Tech Lead or Lead Engineer.
- Experience as an Individual Contributor specialist.
- Ability to work remotely from home.
- Japanese written and verbal communication skills at approximately JLPT N2 level are stated in the English requirements, while the Japanese section says language ability is not a knockout factor.
- Strong empathy with Tailor’s mission.
- Business English is preferred.
- Backend development experience with Go and other microservices-related technologies is preferred.
