Responsibilities
- Provide L2 and L3 support for SAP CPI and resolve integration issues.
- Support technical design, development, architecture, and implementation of SAP CPI solutions.
- Modernize and continuously improve SAP CPI services and integration flows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize integration flows, including iFlows, error handling, and performance.
- Develop data transformations, message mappings, and custom integration logic using Groovy and Java.
- Build, manage, and secure APIs using SAP API Management and relevant security protocols.
- Integrate SAP systems and non-SAP systems across cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise environments.
- Automate certificate renewal and monitoring activities.
- Support CI/CD practices and related tools.
- Perform ABAP development, debugging, enhancements, BAPIs, and IDoc work.
- Mentor a team of supporting engineers.
Requirements
- At least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of overall experience in SAP CPI.
- Experience with end-user operational support and Incident, Request, Change, and Problem Management aligned with ITIL.
- Strong SAP CPI capabilities, middleware knowledge, CPI Web UI knowledge, and experience with integration adapters and message formats.
- Strong Groovy and Java scripting skills for custom logic implementation in SAP CPI.
- Experience with API-based integration and SAP API Management, including OAuth, SSL, and SAML.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, and non-SAP systems.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, cloud connectivity, and integration-flow optimization.
- Solid ABAP development experience, including debugging, enhancements, BAPIs, and IDoc.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools including Azure DevOps, Git, GitFlow, Jenkins, Selenium, JMeter, and BlazeMeter.
- Relevant SAP CPI, SAP HANA, or other SAP certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Waterfall or Agile development practices, global multicultural environments, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Java or other scripting languages is preferred.
