Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, reusable, resilient multi-application platform environments with a focus on data modeling, schema optimization, performance, and UX/UI.
- Design and develop integrations using SQL views, stored procedures, and high-concurrency REST/SOAP web services and APIs.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, resource contention, latency spikes, and other architectural issues across the web application stack.
- Analyze database execution plans, JVM and memory utilization, and Locust load-test outputs to identify root causes.
- Lead technical teams through the SDLC, gather non-functional requirements, define production-readiness strategies, communicate recommendations, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related stated field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 8+ years of specialized enterprise web application architecture, deployment, and delivery experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Python and SQL, with strong proficiency in JavaScript or Java.
- Advanced experience with relational data modeling and SQL Server, Oracle, or MariaDB, plus custom APIs and middleware or ESB orchestration layers.
- Experience with web infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, DevSecOps pipelines, Selenium, and performance, load, and penetration testing.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in agile engineering environments; Generative AI, LLM application pipelines, or vector databases; and Salesforce or ServiceNow.
