Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build dashboard features that help customers discover and trial products in context, including trial credits, proof points, and in-product case studies.
- Build and improve self-service onboarding so smaller businesses can sign up, realize value, and convert without sales assistance.
- Own engineering for the Middesk.com rebuild, including site structure, performance, content, hosted demo environments, and testing infrastructure.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Account Management to analyze the funnel and prioritize engineering work.
- Apply Middesk’s internal agents to account and contact enrichment, content research, topic curation, and funnel analysis.
- Instrument shipped features, measure outcomes, and iterate based on results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping production web applications with strong full-stack fundamentals.
- Strong frontend skills and attention to user-facing quality.
- Experience with Rails and React.
- Comfort with SQL, analytics, and defining and defending metrics.
- Demonstrated ownership of outcomes from implementation through measurement and iteration.
- Strong communication skills with Marketing, Sales, and other non-engineering partners.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, frequently changing environments.
- Startup experience and a hands-on AI tooling workflow.
- Preferred: growth engineering, product-led growth, experimentation, A/B testing frameworks, or funnel analytics experience.
- Preferred: SEO, AI search/AEO, or marketing-site acquisition experience.
- Preferred: fintech, compliance, or identity experience where data accuracy matters.
- Preferred: former founder or early-stage startup engineering experience.
