Responsibilities
- Build Go-based APIs, microservices, and CLI tools for internal developer productivity.
- Design automation that orchestrates workflows among systems of record, SaaS platforms, and internal infrastructure.
- Develop governance-as-code systems for repository and service oversight.
- Create self-service interfaces for securely requesting and managing infrastructure resources.
- Deploy, maintain, profile, and optimize backend systems hosted on Kubernetes/EKS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform responsiveness, reliability, and developer workflows.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Backend Engineer using Go.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience building services on Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of scalable web services, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency designing and consuming APIs and managing authentication and authorization protocols.
- Hands-on database management experience, including schema design, database performance optimization, and query optimization.
- Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools.
- Experience managing infrastructure on AWS and using GitHub as a core platform.
- Understanding of Git and continuous integration/delivery.
- Experience building internal developer-facing tools or CLI applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and high-quality delivery skills.
