Responsibilities
- Define the CX Platform’s technical strategy and architectural vision, including coherent AI/ML integration across services.
- Design reliable, high-performing, scalable full-stack systems in partnership with product and design leadership.
- Set technical standards and architectural requirements for systems used by multiple engineering teams.
- Mentor senior engineers, conduct design reviews, and influence architectural decisions through consensus.
- Standardize CI/CD practices and security protocols while improving software quality and developer experience.
- Partner across engineering groups on multi-quarter roadmaps and organizational technical strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree such as Mathematics or Physics.
- 8 years of related professional engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
- Experience designing and delivering full-stack applications in production environments.
- Experience integrating AI/ML models or API-driven services into customer-facing products.
- Experience setting technical standards or architectural requirements for systems used by multiple engineering teams.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and applying secure development lifecycles, including SAST/DAST.
- Experience leading technical design reviews and influencing architectural decisions through consensus.
- Preferred experience includes architecture reviews, organizational technical strategy, distributed systems, AI/ML platform integration, secure system design, developer experience/tooling, and multi-quarter roadmaps.
Benefits
- Hybrid role in San Jose, California, requiring 2–3 days in the office per week.
- Base salary range is $186,900.00–$267,700.00, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
