Base Salary
$158k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of full-stack features across React-based UI, Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, Kafka services, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Architect flexible, reusable UI components and scalable platform patterns.
- Set technical direction with backend engineers, UX designers, and product managers.
- Own logging, observability, and infrastructure concerns at the platform level.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering standards across the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience building enterprise-grade solutions.
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a history of integrating new technologies into workflows and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including ReactJS single-page applications and state management libraries such as Recoil.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs in a microservices architecture and working with event-streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with containerized deployments on Kubernetes and core AWS services.
- Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, security or networking products, D3.js, or Next.js.
- Preferred unit testing experience with React Testing Library, Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
- Preferred familiarity with JavaScript build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
