Responsibilities
- Write programs using C++, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Create and run unit tests.
- Develop software documentation.
- Create and run automated software builds and pipelines in a CI/CD environment.
- Program network connections, including message generation, formatting, and UDP and TCP/IP interfaces.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and government customers.
- Participate in Agile and Scaled Agile Framework planning, development, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama, supporting a federal customer.
- Support software configuration management and issue tracking activities.
Requirements
- An active Secret clearance is required to start.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of professional experience are required.
- Proficiency in C++ is expected.
- Experience with GitLab or Git for software configuration management is required.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux is required.
- Familiarity with Java and user interfaces is required.
- Experience with multi-core and multi-threaded programming is required.
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework and Agile Scrum is required.
- Experience with Jira or a similar issue-tracking and agile project-management tool is required.
- Familiarity with MDA sensors and missile defense systems is preferred.
