Responsibilities
- Formulate real-world business problems into practical, efficient, and scalable AI and machine learning solutions.
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, models, and computational systems.
- Build scalable data pipelines for model training and production using DevOps and MLOps practices.
- Customize and apply deep learning and generative AI models, including large language models, for client use cases.
- Research and develop AI, high-performance computing, algorithm, model, and simulation applications.
- Process large-scale datasets and implement data storage and retrieval mechanisms for models and knowledge.
- Deploy, monitor, alert on, audit, and maintain production AI/ML systems.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to integrate solutions into production and demonstrate business value.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- Significant experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist deploying models in production at scale is required.
- Extensive experience with computer science foundations, computer architecture, systems engineering, and programming is required.
- Experience with distributed computing systems, big data, high-performance computing, engineering simulations, scientific computing, grid computing, cloud computing, or distributed networks is required.
- Established experience building and deploying AI/ML-based software to a cloud environment is required.
- Proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and language model APIs is preferred.
- Experience with Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL is preferred.
- Strong communication, client-facing consulting, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are preferred.
- A master's or PhD in a related field such as computer science or engineering is preferred.
