Responsibilities
- Lead deployment of machine learning models into production using Databricks and MLFlow.
- Implement scalable batch and real-time model serving solutions.
- Design and maintain automated build, testing, validation, and deployment pipelines for ML artifacts.
- Build and maintain production-grade feature engineering and feature serving pipelines.
- Manage model registration, versioning, publishing, promotion, retraining, redeployment, and retirement.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability practices for production ML systems.
- Investigate model performance, deployment, and infrastructure issues and contribute to runbooks and documentation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, platform engineers, services teams, and other stakeholders.
- Drive best practices in ML engineering and operations, including version control, data governance, and resource optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ML engineering, MLOps, data engineering, or a similar role.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning models and algorithms.
- 8+ years of experience with Databricks, MLFlow, and other relevant ML tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Mastery of cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools and practices such as CDK and Terraform.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
