Responsibilities
- Deploy ML models to production using Databricks and MLFlow, including batch and real-time serving solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, rollout and rollback strategies, and production deployment workflows for ML artifacts.
- Translate feature definitions into scalable production-grade feature pipelines and reliable feature serving systems.
- Manage model registration, versioning, publishing, promotion, retraining, redeployment, and retirement.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and performance improvements for production ML systems.
- Investigate model, deployment, and infrastructure issues and ensure latency, throughput, and reliability requirements are met.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, platform engineers, services teams, and other stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of ML engineering and operations best practices, including version control, data governance, and resource optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in ML engineering, MLOps, data engineering, or a similar role.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning models and algorithms.
- At least 8 years of experience with Databricks, MLFlow, and other relevant ML tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Mastery of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tooling and practices such as CDK and Terraform.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
