Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, scalable, and reliable cloud deployment solutions.
- Build tools and automation for Find My microservices and distributed systems.
- Partner with product, SRE, and engineering teams to deliver cloud systems and resolve architectural gaps.
- Work with cloud networking, native cloud services, Kubernetes, container runtimes, Helm, Terraform, security controls, and observability systems.
- Build and integrate microservices at global scale.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Drive solutions across partner teams and lead or manage enterprise-level projects or multifunctional engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience and 5 years of experience working with cloud architectures.
- Strong Java development experience and the ability to use Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Hands-on experience managing cloud architectures, networking, and native cloud services.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, container runtimes, and Helm-based package management.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar technologies, including modular and reusable code for multi-environment setups.
- Understanding of network security, firewalls, encryption at rest and in transit, IAM roles, and secret-management tools.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and microservices integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure; LLMs or AI tooling for operational automation; and enterprise or multifunctional engineering initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
