Responsibilities
- Support the Systems Engineering team in developing, testing, and maintaining internal applications and services.
- Collaborate with project managers, business units, and Systems Engineering colleagues to deliver features, improvements, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Write clean, maintainable, test-driven, and well-documented code according to team standards and best practices.
- Contribute to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
- Provide technical support for systems within the Systems Engineering remit.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable full-stack development experience with C# .NET Framework or Core, ASP.NET MVC or Razor, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with software development IDEs such as Visual Studio and VS Code and version control tools such as Git.
- Understanding of basic data structures and object-oriented development principles.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- One to two years of experience is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience with T-SQL and SQL Server is desired.
- Understanding or experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS is desired.
- Exposure to development management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira is desired.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate is desired.
- Knowledge of computerised system validation concepts is desired.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Availability to work within CET/GMT business hours.
