Responsibilities
- Own the customer-facing layer of the payments product.
- Build systems for payment methods, refunds, and fintech add-ons.
- Contribute to the payments roadmap alongside finance-focused PMs.
- Write design documents for significant changes to payment systems.
- Mentor colleagues in payments engineering patterns.
- Coordinate cross-squad deliverables and align stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in product leadership and translating business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Strong background in system architecture and scalable system design.
- Expertise in defining technical standards and engineering excellence.
- Proficiency in full-stack development with a focus on either frontend or backend.
- Experience with operational maturity and incident response management.
- Knowledge of security and risk management in production environments.
- Interest in AI-augmented workflows and modern development practices.
