Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for accounts and account managers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and articulate how offerings address their needs.
  • Create and maintain value-based relationships at all levels in customer organizations.
  • Participate in all phases of planning and execution from discovery to technical win.
  • Demonstrate the value of Elastic products in sales meetings and events.
  • Advise the sales team on effective positioning of Elastic products and solutions.
  • Onboard and educate partners, supporting them in sales cycles.
  • Create collateral and collaborate with other team members to meet client needs.
  • Communicate customer and community needs to engineering and leadership teams.
  • Enhance sales and technical skills through self-driven education.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a technical presales role within enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms and technologies.
  • Passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Experience in developing customer relations and devising effective architectures.
  • Ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Fluency in German is essential.
  • Willingness to travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
