Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Vercel and Next.js for partner engineering teams and leadership across EMEA.
- Run Vercel’s regional partner certification program, including workshops, project reviews, and guidance for partner engineers.
- Create and deliver technical training and enablement on Next.js and Vercel best practices, including AI applications and agents.
- Deliver one-to-many technical workshops and author their content.
- Run and support partner hackathons to build partner skills and surface joint solutions.
- Provide pre-sales support through proofs of concept, technical deep dives, and deal unblocking alongside sales and sales engineering teams.
- Act as the main technical contact for SIs and GSIs across the region.
- Build templates and solutions that help partner communities deliver effectively with Vercel.
- Develop lasting technical relationships with partner engineering teams, practice leads, delivery teams, and executives.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a solutions engineer advising or consulting engineering teams.
- At least 6 years of experience building and launching frontend applications using Next.js or React.
- Strong understanding of web architecture, frontend development, cloud infrastructure, networking, and serverless computing.
- Spoken fluency in German and/or French, along with professional English.
- Experience working with or within agencies, systems integrators, or consulting firms and understanding technology practice delivery and growth.
- Experience in developer relations, including training sessions, talks, and technical content production.
- Experience driving adoption of web technology or previous pre-sales experience.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
- Based in EMEA and able to travel 20% of the time.
- Experience working with remote, globally distributed cross-functional teams.
- Experience building and shipping AI-powered or agentic applications, preferably with the AI SDK, is a bonus.
- Speaking both German and French, running certification or enablement programs at scale, and experience with composable architectures are bonuses.
