Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical design of Power Platform applications, including solution architecture, Dataverse models, security, integrations, and front-end design.
- Design and develop Power Pages sites with templates, Liquid, forms, lists, permissions, authentication providers, and external user access.
- Build responsive Power Pages experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, custom components, client-side validation, and the Dataverse Web API.
- Design and build model-driven and canvas Power Apps, including forms, views, business rules, client scripting, and performance considerations.
- Design Dataverse tables, relationships, fields, business rules, keys, and role-, team-, business-unit-, row-, and column-level security models.
- Develop C#/.NET plug-ins and custom APIs and integrate external systems through REST APIs and the Dataverse Web API.
- Build custom Power Apps Component Framework controls using TypeScript and React.
- Lead developers through task breakdown, technical guidance, code reviews, issue resolution, and quality oversight.
- Own ALM and release practices, including solution management, environment strategy, source control, deployment pipelines, and configuration and data migration.
- Set engineering standards covering coding conventions, reusable components, performance, accessibility, and security for public-facing sites.
- Work with clients, functional teams, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical designs and challenge unsustainable approaches.
- Own portal performance, scalability, caching, accessibility compliance, and security hardening.
- Support estimation, sprint planning, technical risk identification, client discussions, and technical design walkthroughs.
- Mentor developers and contribute reusable components, templates, and practice accelerators.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of overall application development experience with substantial recent Microsoft Power Platform delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience building and productionizing model-driven and/or canvas Power Apps.
- Deep Power Pages or Power Apps Portals experience, including web templates, Liquid, forms, lists, permissions, web roles, authentication, and external-facing sites.
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and Bootstrap skills for custom user interface development.
- Deep Dataverse expertise covering data modeling, relationships, business rules, and security models.
- Experience with the Dataverse Web API and REST integration patterns, including authentication and error handling.
- C#/.NET server-side development experience with plug-ins, custom APIs, and custom workflow activities.
- Experience with Power Apps Component Framework and TypeScript for custom controls.
- Solid ALM experience with solution management, environment strategy, Git, and automated or repeatable deployments.
- Proven technical lead experience owning design decisions, conducting code reviews, guiding developers, and being accountable for technical quality.
- Ability to work directly with clients and functional teams and explain technical trade-offs clearly.
- Strong full-stack debugging and troubleshooting skills across browsers, portal runtime, Dataverse, and integrations.
- Preferred Microsoft certifications include PL-400, PL-600, or PL-200.
- Preferred experience includes React, Angular, Vue, build tooling, high-traffic portals, SEO, CDN, caching, Azure services, Dynamics 365, WCAG, assistive-technology testing, automated testing, global delivery environments, and reusable component development.
