Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy motion-planning software for autonomous trucks.
- Develop lateral and longitudinal motion-planning algorithms and integrate them into the production system.
- Use C++ numerical optimization frameworks, Git, ROS, and related software tools.
- Perform system-level diagnostics and tuning with in-house visualization tools and open-source platforms such as Webviz.
- Collaborate with engineers to produce system designs approved before implementation.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics, Robotic Systems Development, or a related field.
- Experience developing production code in C++.
- Applied robotics experience in robotics, motion planning, computer vision, or machine learning.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Python experience is an added advantage.
- Preferred experience is PhD plus 1–2 years or MS plus 3–4 years.
