Base Salary
$125k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX teams.
- Own software development from design through testing and deployment.
- Create applications that improve machine-shop production cycle time and accelerate the process from CAD to finished part.
- Understand user problems and develop efficient solutions.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develop software for factory operations, CNC program generation, CNC machine control, deployment, algorithms, and AI-enabled solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline, or 2+ years of professional software-development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in full-stack development.
- Preferred experience developing, debugging, and deploying software used in real-world applications.
- Preferred knowledge of computer architecture, networks, AI tools, and AI-based problem solving.
- Preferred programming experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
- Preferred front-end experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework.
- Preferred experience with web technologies, build systems, package managers, Unix-like systems, infrastructure tools, containers, deployment tools, and databases.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $125,000.00-$160,000.00 for Level 1 or $145,000.00-$195,000.00 for Level 2.
