Responsibilities
- Create and execute automated and manual test plans for new products and features.
- Develop, convert, maintain, and debug automated test scripts using Python or internal BDD/LLM tools.
- Design and maintain AI tools, skills, and agents that streamline QA testing and improve cycle time, coverage, and escape rates.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot to build, extend, and debug test automation.
- Analyze automation results, identify root causes, and improve product and test quality.
- Test compatibility with audio/video devices, Wi-Fi routers, and audio/video streaming file types.
- Own features, products, and devices through completion and represent QA in cross-functional release decisions.
- Collaborate with QA, hardware, firmware, SoC vendors, and device manufacturers.
- Mentor team members and establish standards for AI adoption and QA workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of test automation development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience writing and executing QA test plans for consumer electronics products.
- Strong test strategy, test case design, automated regression testing, quantitative reporting, and technical communication skills.
- Experience with Python or an equivalent language, Linux, software development lifecycle practices, and varied testing techniques.
- Hands-on fluency with conversational AI and agentic coding tools, including the ability to describe a recurring multi-tool QA workflow.
- Ability to build reusable AI workflows, prompt templates, custom skills, or agents that others can adopt.
- Experience introducing tools, workflows, or practices adopted by a team, leading QA projects, and mentoring team members.
- Experience with Smart TVs, consumer audio/video devices, set-top boxes, TV remote controls, streaming formats, codecs, and wired or wireless home networking.
- Strong written and spoken English and team-building skills.
