Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data-ingestion pipelines for high-volume real-time telemetry from Starlink satellites, user terminals, gateways, and ground infrastructure.
- Process and transform metrics, logs, events, and traces into structured, enriched formats for alerting, analytics, and decision-making.
- Develop frontend visualizations, interactive dashboards, and UI components for clear real-time monitoring views.
- Automate network-monitoring operations and improve anomaly-detection accuracy.
- Maintain high software standards and engineering best practices across the full stack.
- Investigate business problems and apply efficient, first-principles solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM plus at least one year of industry and/or internship experience, or at least three years of professional software development experience in lieu of a STEM degree.
- Frontend experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework is preferred.
- Programming experience with Python, C#, .NET, Go, Scala, Java, or a similar object-oriented language is preferred.
- Familiarity with real-time analytics and anomaly-detection systems is preferred.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, or similar relational database technologies is preferred.
- Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar infrastructure tools is preferred.
- Experience designing, building, and optimizing large-scale distributed systems for processing and querying high-volume data is preferred.
- Applicants must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines and participate in a weeklong rotational on-call schedule.
