Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based managed services across the full software development lifecycle.
- Design and implement cloud services and major system subsystems based on requirements.
- Participate in incident management and 24/7 on-call rotations to resolve production issues within SLAs and SLOs.
- Monitor and analyze system health, availability, latency, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production outages, deliver bug fixes and updates, perform customer root-cause analyses, and create automation.
- Drive continuous improvement of production operations and proactively reduce recurring incidents.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python or Go.
- Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation using tools or languages such as Ansible, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
- Thorough understanding of Linux or other Unix-like operating systems.
- Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge and experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Deep working knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with filesystem development and distributed systems design is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to complete multiple moderately complex technical tasks.
Benefits
