Backend Engineer - SDE2
AI SquaredResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain performant, secure, and scalable backend services.
- Build reusable, maintainable, clean, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product designers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and align implementations with product needs.
- Own backend architecture and suggest improvements to scalability, reliability, and code quality.
- Break complex technical issues into manageable tasks and milestones for timely delivery.
- Monitor and improve system performance by addressing bottlenecks and optimizing efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of backend development experience using a modern technology stack.
- Strong expertise in backend development, including API design, database management, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and alignment skills for a distributed team environment.
- Familiarity with testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools.
