Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship secure, tested, performant full-stack features using React, Next.js, and Nest.js.
- Design, build, and maintain GraphQL APIs and schemas for frontend and cross-team needs.
- Partner with Product Management, UX, Backend, and other stakeholders to deliver features end to end.
- Write maintainable code, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and champion team standards.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps while partnering with DevOps and platform teams on deployment automation and release processes.
- Apply DevOps principles using Serverless and Kubernetes-based deployment patterns where appropriate.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues across browser rendering, APIs, and data layers.
- Collaborate with and mentor fellow engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building web applications.
- Professional full-stack experience with React, Next.js, Nest.js, and Node.js.
- Production experience designing, building, and consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Serverless and Kubernetes deployment patterns.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, browser concepts, and relational and non-relational data models.
- Strong performance diagnosis and optimization skills across the application stack.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or another physical science, or equivalent experience.
- Clear written and verbal communication, collaboration, organization, and self-motivation.
- Experience with the Spring Framework and Java-based services is preferred.
- Enterprise or product-focused software company experience and remote or globally distributed team experience are preferred.
