Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality cloud-native applications and secure, maintainable software solutions.
- Build microservices, containerised applications, and event-driven components using modern engineering practices.
- Implement automated testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Support observability, resilience engineering, performance tuning, and other site reliability practices.
- Mentor and coach developers, promote engineering excellence, and shape technical standards and best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve complex, high-impact technical issues across the technology estate.
- Collaborate with architects to evolve shared frameworks, libraries, and platform components.
- Work with product owners, platform engineers, QA teams, UX/UI colleagues, and third-party software partners.
- Contribute to Agile planning, refinement, retrospectives, recruitment, onboarding, and continuous improvement.
- Explore and implement technologies, tooling, templates, pipelines, and automation that improve developer experience and platform quality.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, or Python.
- Modern front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
- Advanced experience with Azure or AWS/GCP equivalents.
- Strong expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Strong SQL Server and Entity Framework capabilities.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
- Secure coding experience and familiarity with OWASP principles.
- Hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, complex problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
