Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data labeling and enrichment pipelines for Instawork Robotics’ data offering
- Optimize data pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and quality
- Develop methodologies and analytics to measure dataset quality and machine learning model performance
- Review academic research and industry best practices related to robotics learning and training
- Collaborate with robotics leadership, data operations, QA, and engineering teams from concept through deployment
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships
- Master’s or PhD in an AI- or ML-related field
- 1+ years of professional experience building machine learning or computer vision models for robotics or autonomous vehicle applications
- Expertise with data pipelines, distributed systems, AWS infrastructure, cloud computing, and scalable processing of large-scale datasets
- Ability to translate academic research and frontier-lab techniques into production systems
- 3+ years of experience designing or architecting production distributed systems preferred
- Experience shipping production code at an early- or mid-stage startup preferred
- Experience participating in technical discussions with external partners and customers preferred
