Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures spanning application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
- Evaluate architectural trade-offs and drive decisions aligned with business priorities, risk, and long-term sustainability.
- Architect Java and Spring Boot microservices, cloud-native platforms, event-driven systems, and full-stack applications.
- Guide legacy transformation, cloud migration, and platform re-architecture initiatives.
- Define Azure or AWS cloud architectures using containers, Kubernetes, and managed services.
- Incorporate AI and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise solutions where applicable.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, resilience, security, and compliance requirements.
- Produce and own HLDs, LLDs, solution diagrams, and design reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and enterprise architecture and governance bodies.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence best practices across teams.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Full-stack development exposure across backend services and UI technologies.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, and messaging.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containers and orchestration.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD concepts, and related tooling.
- Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, or Generative AI solution patterns.
- Excellent system design, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments is preferred.
- Architecture or cloud certifications are preferred.
