Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures spanning application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
- Evaluate architectural trade-offs and make decisions aligned with business priorities, risk, and long-term sustainability.
- Architect Java and Spring Boot microservices and cloud-native platforms.
- Provide architectural guidance for full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Lead legacy transformation, cloud migration, and platform re-architecture initiatives.
- Define Azure or AWS cloud architectures using containers, Kubernetes, and managed services.
- Incorporate AI and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise solutions where applicable.
- Ensure solutions satisfy scalability, performance, resilience, security, and compliance requirements.
- Produce and own high-level designs, low-level designs, solution diagrams, and design reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and enterprise architecture and governance groups.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering best practices across teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and backend services.
- Experience with full-stack development, including backend and user-interface technologies.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms, with Azure preferred.
- Experience designing event-driven architectures using Kafka and messaging systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts and tooling.
- Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, or Generative AI solution patterns.
- Excellent system-design, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments is preferred.
- Architecture or cloud certifications are preferred.
