Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship early production agents on the Guild.ai platform.
- Act as a power user and core contributor, using the platform to build agents and provide feedback.
- Own the entire agent workflow from idea to production, including task scoping and architecture.
- Integrate agents with real developer environments, connecting to source control and CI/CD.
- Implement guardrails and monitoring to ensure agent reliability and observability.
- Collaborate with product managers and ML teams to define agent behaviors and success metrics.
- Help define best practices and patterns for building agents on the platform.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with experience in owning complex features end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs in production or high-stakes environments.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TypeScript or modern web/backend stacks.
- Ability to design and reason about distributed or event-driven systems and APIs.
- Practical mindset around reliability, including logging and observability.
- Comfort in a high-ambiguity, high-ownership startup environment.
- Clear communication skills and a strong product sense.
