Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production environments
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production
- Partner directly with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and develop solutions
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform
- Develop agent frameworks for industry-specific use cases and experiment with voice models at enterprise scale
Requirements
- Professional fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
- Builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred experience building or deploying AI or LLM systems in production
- Preferred founder or founding engineer experience
- Preferred familiarity with AI agent evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- React, TypeScript, and/or Go experience is preferred
- Preferred experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
