Base Salary
$105k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production features for AI/ML, LLM-powered, and agentic AI systems with guidance from senior engineers.
- Implement and maintain AI/ML and AI agent pipelines from data ingestion through model deployment.
- Develop prompts, evaluations, retrieval workflows, and tool integrations for LLM-powered features.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and basic evaluation of model and prompt performance.
- Build or integrate APIs with internal and third-party services.
- Document experiments, results, and model decisions, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Own assigned tasks end to end and share learnings with the broader team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on exposure to AI/ML systems and generative AI development.
- Solid software engineering foundation using Python or a similar language.
- Foundational knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, with interest in AWS and AWS GenAI.
- Exposure to building or contributing to agentic AI systems and familiarity with AI frameworks and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with evaluation and observability practices for LLM applications.
- Awareness of AI safety, responsible AI, prompt injection risks, and PII handling.
- Exposure to RAG pipelines, including chunking strategies, embedding models, and vector databases.
- Experience building or integrating APIs with internal and third-party services.
- Awareness of LLM cost considerations, including token economics and caching strategies.
- Working knowledge of Docker and exposure to Kubernetes.
- Demonstrable day-to-day use of AI-forward coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, document work clearly, take ownership, learn quickly, and give direct constructive feedback.

- Salary range of $105,000USD - $147,000 USD.
