Responsibilities
- Design and implement LLM-based features and RAG pipelines from data ingestion through answer generation.
- Build and optimize retrieval using vector embeddings and hybrid semantic and keyword search.
- Process, clean, structure, chunk, and enrich source information to improve AI-generated output quality.
- Evaluate model quality, experiment with new approaches, and productionize proven solutions.
- Integrate AI components into the wider platform and own changes through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Work independently while communicating blockers, scope questions, and technical trade-offs.
- Contribute to either the ChatCPI intelligent search assistant or the Knowledge Graph Platform.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working on AI/ML projects.
- Good Python skills with hands-on implementation experience.
- Practical experience with LLMs, modern AI technologies, RAG architecture, vector embeddings, and hybrid search.
- Experience with data preparation, chunking, metadata enrichment, relevance tuning, and other information-processing techniques for improving AI quality.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership from design through deployment.
- Upper-Intermediate English is a plus.
- Experience with knowledge graphs or graph databases is a plus.
- Telecommunications domain experience is a plus.
