Responsibilities
- Architect complex systems and make critical technical decisions

- Evaluate new technologies and lead innovation initiatives
- Guide architecture and delivery across multiple product areas
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of production-level engineering experience building highly scalable systems
- 6+ years as a trusted technical decision-maker solving for short- and long-term business value
- 4+ years working with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table datasets
- Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Strong familiarity with server-side web technologies including Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, or Go
- Preferred experience architecting and scaling reliable backend or platform systems for millions of users
- Preferred experience guiding large teams of 50+ engineers across multiple product areas
- Preferred background implementing AI-driven features as scalable, user-facing products
- Preferred expertise with cloud infrastructure, Kafka, large-scale databases, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience engineering for scalability, high availability, security, sensitive data, and regulated data is preferred
- Familiarity with database replication, sharding, and distributed-systems resiliency techniques
- Ability to lead and mentor senior engineering talent and shape architecture across multiple teams
