Responsibilities
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams and work directly with users and business analysts.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and manage overall deliverables.
- Build scalable enterprise-wide data models and services for listed-product lifecycles and front-to-back processing.
- Implement appropriate caching and messaging technologies.
- Manage a team of two to three team members.
Requirements
- At least 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably computer science.
- Strong understanding of Java technology and open-source frameworks including Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Experience with integration middleware, service-oriented architecture, cloud-native design, microservices, Spark, and Kafka.
- Experience with at least one public cloud offering, including AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Database development and debugging experience with stored procedures, Sybase, and/or DB2.
- NoSQL experience, preferably MongoDB, and experience with database design and modeling.
- Understanding of Python is preferred; familiarity with Agile and DevOps is an advantage.
