Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software applications that support business objectives.
  • Maintain, enhance, and support existing applications.
  • Analyze and debug applications in development and production and resolve production issues within accepted timeframes.
  • Participate in technical design meetings and code reviews.
  • Perform unit and integration testing of assigned applications.
  • Write technical documentation and application release notes.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior programmers and other software engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of proven software development and system maintenance experience.
  • Experience developing simple, maintainable systems using best practices, design patterns, and object-oriented design concepts.
  • Experience with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, Webpack, NPM, JSON, XML, LINQ, Entity Framework, IoC frameworks, Redis, and AWS technologies.
  • Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude for development, code review, and debugging.
  • Understanding of CSS, HTML5, browser differences, polyfills, Bootstrap, and Material CSS components.
  • Understanding of parallel programming, async/await, and the TPL library.
  • Experience developing software in Scrum and Agile environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, code optimization, refactoring, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing technology, and manage multiple projects.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications include a designer’s eye, multithreaded programming experience, and knowledge of prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
