Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, secure software systems, including microservices and REST/gRPC APIs.
- Lead distributed-system design and implementation using messaging, search stores, and cloud storage solutions.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver APIs for high-performance user interfaces.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize services with a DevOps mindset.
- Drive end-to-end technical execution and delivery of cloud-native solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth through knowledge sharing and guidance.
Requirements
- 13+ years of hands-on software application development experience with distributed systems and cloud storage solutions.
- Proficiency with Java and Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with observability tools such as DataDog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Expertise across the software development life cycle, including Git-based version control, design, deployment, and system optimization.
- Preferred experience integrating AI/ML model inference, AI security controls, or automated threat intelligence into high-throughput microservices.
- Preferred expertise in SLAs, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Preferred background in test-driven development, Agile workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and relational or NoSQL databases.
