Base Salary
$143k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering efforts delivering scalable infrastructure, reusable tooling, and frameworks aligned with strategic roadmaps.
- Drive the full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, including high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time data processing.
- Architect and implement cloud-native distributed systems to enhance product capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while influencing architectural decisions and promoting engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, measure success metrics, and ensure quality and business objectives.
- Foster continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and refining processes to improve performance and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and 5 years of software engineering or related experience, or 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
- Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership and delivering scalable, reliable cloud-native architectures.
- Proven expertise designing and implementing distributed systems optimized for real-time data processing and AI/ML integration.
- Strong proficiency in software development lifecycle management, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
- Ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions across multiple projects.
- Skill in applying model-driven design and leveraging AI agents to enhance software solutions.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of software engineering or related experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices is preferred.
