Base Salary
$143k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones.
- Perform full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable and resilient systems.
- Lead system design reviews and apply software design patterns.
- Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and intelligent automation features.
- Design APIs and develop software prototypes.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics.
- Improve engineering processes, tools, and products through innovation and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus 4 years of software engineering or related experience, or 6 years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience managing or contributing to the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture principles, containers, automation, system design reviews, and software design patterns.
- Experience with API design, software prototyping, and DevOps engineering practices.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and building intelligent automation features.
- Ability to use data-driven decision making to define success metrics and optimize engineering processes.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree plus 2 years of software engineering or related experience, and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
