Base Salary
$97k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, test, and debug embedded C/C++ software for GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
- Design real-time embedded software and analyze requirements against strict performance criteria.
- Produce detailed design and compliance documentation.
- Evaluate design alternatives through proof-of-concept activities and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute technical leadership and subject-matter expertise to embedded software development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field, with at least 9 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s or advanced degree with at least 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2 years of experience as a team lead, technical lead, or subject matter expert on an embedded software development project.
- At least 2 years of experience working with DoD or DoW customers or subcontractors.
- At least 5 years of experience with Python and C/C++.
- At least 5 years of embedded software development experience using Linux or Windows.
- Ability to obtain and hold a DoD SECRET clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with navigation and signal-processing algorithms, GPS concepts, real-time operating systems, MOSA software development, MBSE toolchains, and defense-industry documentation and milestone reviews.
