Base Salary
$112k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and debug embedded C/C++ software for GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
- Create detailed software design documentation and demonstrate compliance with requirements.
- Interpret customer specifications and assist with software requirements definition and modification.
- Support programs from conceptual and detailed design through completion, as well as incremental modification, analysis, and testing of legacy solutions.
- Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations, code reviews, and other software engineering activities.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to other software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 6 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s or advanced degree with at least 4 years, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 4 years serving as a team lead, technical lead, or subject matter expert on an embedded software development project.
- At least 4 years as a technical contributor working with Department of Defense customers or subcontractors.
- At least 6 years of C/C++ coding and debugging experience.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include GPS signal selection, acquisition and tracking, PVT calculation, data demodulation, signal correction, jamming and spoofing, navigation or anti-spoofing cryptographic systems, signal processing, real-time embedded operating systems, GPS user equipment, and navigation or control algorithms.
- Preferred experience includes Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, and Git, as well as defense-industry documentation and milestone reviews.
