Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and debug embedded C/C++ software for GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
- Analyze requirements and produce detailed design and compliance documentation.
- Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations of design alternatives and participate in code reviews.
- Support GPS receiver and simulator capabilities for resilient positioning, navigation, and timing in challenging operational environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent field, plus two years of relevant experience designing and analyzing real-time embedded software.
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- Master of Science or another advanced degree is preferred, along with relevant embedded-software experience.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of GPS signal selection, acquisition and tracking, PVT calculation, data demodulation, signal correction, jamming, and spoofing.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded C/C++ development, Model-Based Systems Engineering and related toolchains, and defense-industry documentation and milestone reviews.

- Salary range is $41.35-$76.90 per hour.

- The position is onsite in Yorba Linda, California, with a preferred 4/10 schedule; 5/8 and 9/80 schedules are also considered.
