Responsibilities

  • Define reusable GCP-native integration templates, accelerators, and reference implementations.
  • Design, build, and maintain APIs, webhooks, middleware pipelines, and event-driven workflows connecting GCP, Workday, ServiceNow, and internal systems.
  • Create data mappings, transformation logic, exception handling, monitoring models, dependency maps, runbooks, and handover materials.
  • Secure integrations involving regulated or sensitive data in partnership with Security, Privacy, Identity, and ILM teams.
  • Modernize legacy and Microsoft-dependent interfaces and support phased migration coexistence across Microsoft, GCP, and internal environments.
  • Coordinate data cutovers, permissions validation, metadata mapping, post-deployment stabilization, and long-term sustainment.
  • Provide technical leadership through design reviews, architecture guidance, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in integration engineering, platform architecture, enterprise application integration, or software engineering in complex corporate environments.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and building enterprise pipelines with Google Cloud integration products such as Apigee API Management, Google Cloud Application Integration, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
  • Experience integrating GCP with Workday and ServiceNow using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and integration hubs.
  • Strong production-level proficiency in Python and scripting or automation frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with REST APIs, webhooks, middleware solutions, and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging distributed integration issues across hybrid environments.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise authentication, authorization, and identity frameworks including GCP IAM, OAuth2, SAML, and OIDC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include professional-level Google Cloud certification, Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migration experience, Google Workspace administration and APIs, Google Apps Script, AppSheet, and experience with Gemini Enterprise, BigQuery, Dataflow, Glean, Slack, and Databricks.
  • Preferred experience includes automated testing, cutover planning, data validation, hypercare support, data retention, ILM, privacy frameworks, and regulated-data controls.
