Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable ML infrastructure for Ember’s ranking and feed-blending platform.
- Apply reinforcement learning and multi-objective optimization to create a hyper-personalized visual feed.
- Lead GenAI-driven user experiences from ideation through production rollout.
- Manage the machine learning lifecycle, including data gathering, model training, offline and online evaluation, and deployment at scale.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, and engineering teams to define technical launch paths and deliver the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in Python and C++, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- At least 1 year of machine learning experience, specifically reinforcement learning such as sequential decision-making.
- At least 1 year of ML infrastructure experience, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with personalization, recommender systems, multimodal machine learning, or accessible technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
